                                         FRESHERS AWARD NITE “Nite of Bliss”

It was all fun for the freshers of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) (Faculty of Science) as they celebrated their freshers award night. The Event was held at Meekad hotel (formally Hogas Hotels) on the 4^th of May 2012. The event was anchored by popular school comedians Dynamic V and Penzer.

                The event kicked off with the red carpet by OOU Vanguard at about 8pm. Campus dignitaries present were the Student Union Government, Miss Agege, Artistes. Musicians who performed were Didi, Brain, Double F, AKT, Dereal.

             
 There were presentations of awards which were done in between performances like Most reliable class Rep, Most Creative, Most Influential which went to Babayemi Olamide, Most Influential female won by Opara Gift, Hottest Chick went to Mariam, recognition awards were also given to Biola Swagga, Spartans, Signal Media, Omojay and others.

                Speaking with OOU Vanguard a fresher Mariam who won the hottest chick said I am delighted to be among the awardees and to have gotten this award, also happy that the event was a very peaceful one.

                Also Speaking the coordinator Fayeun Babatunde (Heritage Media)   said it has not been an easy task working tirelessly with vibrant people to make this a success, I wish to thank them all and to all those who made it a success in one way or the other I am much grateful, and lastly I am overwhelmed because I can see smiles in the face of everyone most especially the freshers.

                The Event was put together by Heritage Media, after the vote of thanks was dancing all through the night.
