OOU MEGA CARNIVAL
OOU MEGA CARNIVAL is billed to be a collection of 2days fun packaged
event laced with cultural exposure, competitions, youth initiatives and Trade Opportunities
determined to educate entertain, inform and create a lasting positive image of
an institution filled with opportunities and talents.
CARNIVAL TRADE FAIR (April 8th -11th
2013) Monday-Thursday
This segment is an exhibition, scheduled to be held at the
main campus (PS), which will depict trade and carnival fair, whereby the entire
students could get their carnival materials and souvenirs in other for better
preparation.
If you are interested in trading or sales of any carnival promotional
materials or to get a stand for the trade fair, contact the OOU Mega Carnival
crew as soon as possible.

WALK
Day One (April 12th 2013)
Road show: There will be faculties’ convoy lead by a carnival
motorcade and faculty Queens and Kings, to sustain high visibility for the carnival
each faculty will be led by their faculty president and CEC members.
INTER-FACULTY
CONTEST & EDUCATIONAL DEBATE
Day Two (9am – 4pm) (April 13th 2013)
This Segment is the hallmark of the carnival, tagged OOU’s
GOT TALENT. It will be held at Mini- Campus Field, where by each faculty will
have their own canopy and there will be a centre CONCERT STAGE. It will be Inter
faculty competition/debate, set to expose different talent and creativity. The
competition will be based on EDU-TAINMENT (Music, Dance, Acapella songs, Dj
Comedy, Faculty Presidential/Non –political student Oral Debate
KAMPALA NIGHT (OOU STUDENTS UNITES)
Day Two (7pm till DAWN)
On this segment, one of Nigeria’s second class musical artiste
will be invited to enteratian students after the entire competition.
OOU RAFFLE DRAW
This is a primary Avenue t compensate
the participation/dedication of our fellow students, by given out educational
supporting tools, likes of Laptops, Phones, Students Pocket Organizer,
Calculators and Scholarship for the best two students performance of the day in
any category of the contests
NOTE:
A general Aso Ebi (Kampala) with the inscription of the
school LOGO will be sold to the students. The entire OOUITES are expected to be
on this attire throughout DAY2 and the N1500 Faculty Coloured Tee will be for
Day One.

Am sure this is the ist of its kind carnival in oou. Were can we get the T.shirt, and wat is the talk abut the aso ebi. Nice concept, also nice design work oou vanguard, u have brought out the colour of the event.
